Welcome to the internet home of the Florida Surety Association. Our organization was formed by surety companies doing business in the State of Florida and our members include surety bond agents, attorneys, CPA’s, consultants, and other firms related to or with an interest in our industry.

From our bylaws, “the Association shall promote understanding among its members through the study and discussion of local surety problems and matters relating thereto; provide a central facility for correspondence with other organizations and with public bodies; disseminate useful and interesting information and perform such other functions as may be incidental to the foregoing.”

• The next FSA meeting will be on August 12, 2008 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Lee Bell, CLA and Suzanne Cox, CPA from Saltmarsh, Cleaveland & Gund Certified Public Accountants and Consultants will be the guest speakers. To pay for the meeting, click here.

• CONGRATULATIONS to the Florida Surety Association for being honored with the 2007 Surety Information Office Gold Award for Surety Bond Promotion. Also, congratulations to Michael Dennis, Matt Curran and Mike Battenfield for being honored with 2007 SIO Platinum Awards. There were only six Platinum Awards given out by the FSA this year and 3 of them are from the FSA. Special Thanks to all the FSA members for their support of the surety industry in Florida. The Platinum and Gold Award winners will be honored at the FSA annual meeting, the NASBP Annual Meeting and the SFAA Annual Meeting.
